Goal: A superb passing movement involving four players and finishing with Alan Kirby's beautiful finish from the edge of the box to put us 2-1 up against Drogheda

Team: Well it has to be Longford Town, prime candidates for relegation after going up last year but Steven Kenny has them playing some fantastic football and they lie third in the league at the halfway stage. The transformation of their Strokestown Rd. ground is also a credit to them-it's hardly recognizable from when we were there last year

Highlight of the month: It seems like a long time ago but it has to be Pat Dolan\rquote s antics having been sent off in the LC QF. The way in which he climbed into the stand and continued to run around like a demented turkey was absolutely priceless

Shock: Brendan Rea beating two Drogheda players with the ball at his feet, that seemed to tire him out though as the shot/pass which followed wasn\rquote t too impressive-someone said he should have chipped it up and headed it!!!!

D******d: Well he did give us great enjoyment on a miserable Saturday night with his reaction to our songs but it's for those reactions that this month Donal Golden joins such illustrious names has Alan Kelly, John Caulfield and Derek Whyte as a winner of this award.

Quote:"Kilkenny are the worst team I've seen in the Premier Division since........well since the last time Kilkenny were in the Premier division" a gem from one of the blokes on RTE's Soccer Show whose name I can't remember.

Song: We had a couple of beauties this month: "Offside and you'll always be" to our good friend Donal Golden " We don't speak your language" to the friendly locals in Cobh and finally DaNaNaNaNaNaNa Bradman to the obvious tune to salute Big Eric
